Students who participate in the Music Academy are able to access an unprecedented array of performance opportunities. These range from informal lunchtime performances in school to high-level performances on the national and international stage. Notable performances include the 2022 Music For Youth Schools Prom at the Royal Albert Hall featuring the Mountbatten Big Band, a performance by the Mountbatten Wind Band at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, and regular performances by the Big Band at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
