Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work in the classroom supporting students with a range of special educational needs. 

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 39 weeks per annum

Actual Salary: Grade D £21,980 to £24,294 (depending on experience)

You will be a highly motivated individual with a creative approach who embodies the principle of teaching the “whole” child. You will support teaching and learning within the classroom and lead small group interventions such as Intensive Reader, Social Skills and Touch-Typing Skills.  A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a teaching/learning/child support working environment is essential.

You will be working in a forward-thinking, supportive department where the emphasis is on the education and care of the students. 

Although full time is preferred, part time will be considered.
