Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in the classroom supporting students with a range of special educational needs.

Teaching Assistant – 30.83 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 39 weeks per annum

Actual Salary: Grade B £16,249 to £16,478/Grade C £16,519 to £17,252 (depending on experience)

Previous experience of working in an educational setting and/or with young people is desirable.  You will be working in a forward-thinking, supportive department where the emphasis is on the education and care of the students.  This post would suit someone looking for experience before embarking on a career in teaching.

Although full time is preferred, part time will be considered.
