Attending school every day helps your child to feel comfortable and happy at school, helps them to keep and maintain friendships and ultimately helps them achieve better grades.
If your child is too unwell to attend school then please contact us before 9.00am on the morning of the absence. Please call 01794 502502 (and press 1) or email attendance@mountbatten.hants.sch.uk.
If your child is unwell for a longer period of time, then please help us to support you by:
Providing medical evidence from a doctor as soon as possible.
Discussing your child’s medical issues with us because we may be able to support them in school.
Keeping us updated about any changes in circumstances.
We manage attendance at Mountbatten to help our students get the best out of their time with us. Please contact your child’s tutor if you have any questions.

The Gambia Fundraising Project
We have an exciting fundraising opportunity for The Mountbatten School community to sponsor students in the Mansa Colley Bojang School, our partnership school in The Gambia. This is vital work to support young girls in The Gambia as many families have lost their sources of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic and can no longer afford to send their children to school.
More information about the fundraising project can be found on thisLoom Video.
If you would like to make an online donation, however big or small, this is now available on SCOPAY, just click the button below!

Top Tip
Being a conscious consumer is an effective way of reducing our environmental impact. This does involve doing some research beforehand to find out what are the most sustainable ways to shop. If we all made one additional sustainable purchase per week, it could make a huge difference! If you are not sure where to start, check out the poster below from the WWF for some tips.
