Teacher of PE (Temporary)

Main Pay Scale (upper pay scale may be considered for the right candidate)

We are seeking a highly motivated practitioner of PE to join our high performing Sports Academy. The successful candidate should be able to teach the full age and ability range across Key Stage 3 and 4, and be able to start in January 2025. This is initially a temporary post with the potential to made permanent for the right candidate.

The person appointed will:

  • have a high level of knowledge across a wide range of sporting activities 
  • challenge and inspire our students
  • have a passion for sport and an understanding of how best to develop student potential
  • be willing to commit to the development of students’ skills within extra-curricular provision
  • be willing to contribute to the Sports Academy vision

Desirable attributes for the person appointed would be:

  • specialisms within Football, Rugby and Netball  
  • experience of strength and conditioning
  • experience of teaching GCSE PE, GCSE Dance or OCR Cambridge Nationals Sport Studies
